We are Interchem

Interchem is a company formed from German origins in 1975 by its founder, an immigrant who established roots in Bogota, Colombia. After a decade of experience managing a subsidiary of the German multinational BASF CHEMICAL, the founder created INTERNATIONAL CHEMICALS, as the company was called then, to commercialize chemicals, ingredients, additives and active pharmaceutical ingredients for direct importation, connecting customers with our represented suppliers around the world. In the 80’s it changed its name to INTERCHEM which identifies us today.

With over 50 years in the market, our organization is a pioneer in the business of direct representations and indent sales with a large business of trading where we supply and distribute chemical ingredients, additives and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for the Pharmaceutical, Human Nutrition, Veterinary, Animal Nutrition, and Specialty industries.

We also manage an active 4PL (third party logistics operator) model for various brands and a few more to come soon.

Currently Interchem continues under the strategic direction of the founder’s son and current CEO.
